본 연구는 현대무용예술의 다변화 현상에 주목해 그 예술적 특징과 앞으로의 전망을 살펴보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해서 현대예술의 변화가 무용예술에 어떻게 수용되고 있으며 오늘날 한국에서 이뤄지고 있는 현대무용예술의 현상들이 어떻게 전개되고 발전해왔는지의 단계를 거쳐 살펴보고자 한다. 현대예술의 난해함과 다양한 협업의 과정은 더욱 관객들에게 접근하기 어려운 형태로 보일 수 있으나 낯선 결과물이 다시금 우리의 원초적 경험을 되살려놓는다는 측면에 비춰볼 때 충분히 현대예술은 매력적임에 틀림없다. 따라서 오늘날 무용예술에서 주목할 만한 다변화 현상으로 융 ∙ 복합적 담론과 사례 들, 렉처 퍼포먼스의 등장, 미디어아트의 활용과 무대 시공간의 확장, 커뮤니티 작업의 활성화, 춤아카이브의 도입 등이 그 특징임을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 특성들을 바탕으로 향후 무용의 과제와 전망은 다변화된 무용계의 변화를 인식하고 받아들여 변용의 단계를 거치지만 본질적인 가치를 잊어서는 안되며 무조건적인 트렌드 변화보다는 스스로 창조적 사고를 통해 완성해내는 예술의 완성도에 주목해야 할 것이다.
Abstract
This study aimed at analysis of contemporary dance and artistic features in diversification phenomenon of today. Also discover the views of the future. To do this, I will research how a change of modern art and modern dance is being embraced today in Korea and how things unfold in the art of the contemporary dance and has evolved through the steps. Today, the dance art from a notable diversification phenomenon melting interdisciplinary discourse and practices. for instance, lecture performance· take advantage of media art· appearing on stage performance of space-time expansion, community work of dance, including the introduction of dance archives. Based on these characteristics, the next dance challenges and prospects will be change, also diversified and accepted only the intrinsic value of the transformation steps should not forget outright trend change. In conclusion, Unconditional trends rather than themselves by years of the art produced through creative thinking should pay attention to the quality.
