지하철 환승역 내부 환경과 디자인에 관한 연구 - 신도림역(1-2호선)과 서울역(1-4호선)의 환승역 환경 비교분석을 위주로 -

Abstract

The subway is quick and safe method public’s transportation. However, the environment of the subway station is not improving the qualitative level of city with the complicated traffic line and deteriorating facilities of the subway station. This study classified the theoretical investigation of underground walking space and the design elements that must be considered in order to analyze the current conditions of the two transfer stations(Sindorim station and Seoul subway station). Also, the following results are the problems drawn from the analysis of various interviews on the subject of the present conditions through the application guide line. Since Sindorim station functions as a connection route for transferring, it needs enhancement in visual indications and signs for various facilities that are specifically designed for handicapped and elderly. Because the central function of Seoul Station is transferring, it should include interior designs that consider and associate the historical background of each route, train station, and outside.
