공간의 네트워크 구조를 해석하는 것은 실제 건축 및 도시공간이 지니고 있는 잠재성을 기술하기 위함이다. 본 연구는 공간구문론을 기반으로 하여 도시공간구조 분석을 위한 네트워크 분석 기법 중 사회연결망 지표들을 적용하고자 한다. 특히 기존의 공간구문론을 포함한 폭넓은 네트워크 분석 기법을 정리하고, 이를 실제 도시 공간에 적용을 해보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 비교적 공간구조의 파악이 쉽지 않은 골드코스트시를 대상으로 삼아 축선도를 작성하고 공간분석 소프트웨어를 이용하여 공간구문론 지표 및 사회연결망 지표를 분석하였다. 분석을 통해 각각의 지표들이 지니는 도시 공간 속의 함의를 도출하고 도시공간구조 분석 시 적용방향을 제시하였다.
Abstract
This study tried to introduce various spatial variables in social network analysis to space analysis tools such as Space Syntax and ERAM model. This study is based on the Space Syntax and to apply the social network indicators of network analysis for urban spatial structure analysis. In this purpose, this study applied spatial network model to Gold Coast city at Australia.
