Abstract

In this study, value improvement of public facilities and improve the quality of life, and to illuminate the direction in which to create a social and cultural infra, trying to study the direction to go in order to improve the quality of future life. The "Myeong-dong street" of the "Cheon-an" for the purposes of the present study it was the subject of research. This study tries to suggestions for activation and to understand the problems in order to activation in the "Myeong-dong Street" cultural center area of the "Cheon-an". The theoretical background, were investigated for development and public design of the local culture. And the analysis of the target area with respect to the study, was thus investigated the public cultural facilities. Is a proposal on "Creative Studio" for development of the study area was analyzed with methods for cultural activation through it. The recommendations and conclusions , was the overall proposals for the public design of the “Cheon-an”
