에듀테크 기반 윤리적 소비교육이 초등학생의 환경친화적 태도에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 초등학생들을 대상으로 에듀테크 기반 윤리적 소비교육 프로그램을 개발ㆍ적용하여 에듀테크 기반 윤리적 소비교육 프로그램이 초등학생의 환경친화적 태도 함양에 있어 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 검증하고자 하였다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 2022 개정 초등 5∼6학년(군) 사회, 실과, 도덕 교육과정의 성취기준을 분석하여 윤리적 소비교육 관련 요소를 추출하였다. 분석한 내용을 바탕으로 윤리적 소비교육의 주제를 구성하고 교육과정 내의 단원을 재구성하였으며, 활용할 에듀테크를선별하여 에듀테크 기반 윤리적 소비교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 개발한 프로그램은 정량적ㆍ정성적분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구로 도출해 낸 결론은 첫째, 2022 개정 초등 5∼6학년(군) 사회, 실과, 도덕 교육과정의 다양한 영역에서 윤리적 소비와 관련한 성취기준을 찾을 수 있었다. 둘째, 2022 개정5∼6학년(군) 교육과정의 사회, 실과, 도덕과의 성취기준을 바탕으로 2015 개정 교육과정 및 교과 단원을 재구성하여 에듀테크 기반 윤리적 소비교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 셋째, 초등학교 6학년 학생들을 대상으로 에듀테크 기반 윤리적 소비교육 프로그램을 적용하여 분석한 결과, 에듀테크 기반 윤리적 소비교육 프로그램이 초등학생의 환경친화적 태도에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤음을 확인할 수 있었다. 연구 결과에서 알 수 있듯이, 에듀테크 기반 윤리적 소비교육 프로그램은 학생들의 환경친화적 태도를 고취할 뿐만 아니라, 실생활에서 환경친화적 행동을 실천하도록 동기 부여를 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 초등학생을 대상으로 에듀테크 기반 윤리적 소비교육 프로그램을 다양하게 개발하여 학교현장에 윤리적 소비교육의 개념이 확산할 수 있도록 후속 연구가 필요할 것으로 보인다.
Abstract
This study aimed to develop and apply an ethical consumption educational program using Edutech for elementary school students to assess its impact on cultivating environmental attitudes. Consequently, elements related to ethical consumption education were identified by reviewing the achievement criteria for 5th and 6th grades in the 2022 revised curriculum. The ethical consumption education topics and its units within the curriculum were reorganized based on the analyzed contents. The resulting program included 24 6th graders in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do. The quantitative analysis of the program was conducted by administering a questionnaire pre- and post-tests, comprising 36 items related to environment-friendly attitudes, and a t-test was conducted using the Statistical Package for Social Science program. In addition, qualitative analysis was performed to evaluate and reflect the contents of each class, and data were collected and analyzed through learning outcomes and student interviews. The results were as follows: First, achievement criteria related to ethical consumption were found in the 2022 revised social, practical, and moral curriculum for 5th and 6th grades. Second, an ethical consumption educational program was designed based on the 2015 and 2022 revised curricula. Third, the application and analysis of the program revealed its significant influence on the environmental attitudes of elementary school students. This study found that ethical consumption educational programs utilizing Edutech not only enhance students’ environmental-friendly attitudes but also motivate them to practice environmental-friendly behaviors in real life. Accordingly, ethical consumption educational programs should be developed using various Edutech for elementary school students to facilitate the teaching of ethical consumption in school settings.
