Abstract
This paper deals with prophet Ibrahim in the Quran in the viewpoints of his genealogy & religion, casting him into the blaze & his lie, and rebuilding of the Kaaba & the sacrifice. Ibrahim was born in Babylonia of Iraq as the second son of his father Terah who was 75 years ago. Ibrahim began to contemplation of the existence of signs in the heavens and the earth that led him to the conclusion of the existence of a single creator, Allah. He understood that nature is not under the control of multiple gods, but that it follows the grand design of a single master-creator. He was led not only to destroy the pagan deities, but also to struggle against unjust rulers. He was thrown into fire to be burned alive, but Allah protected him. He has lied three times in his life; two of them for the sake of Allah, and third one when he and Sarah happened to pass by one of the tyrant ruler. He dreamt that he was sacrificing his first-born son, Ismail. He realized he was being tested by Allah through the symbolic sacrifice of his son. Due to flooding during the prophet Noah, the Kaaba has been rebuilt by the prophet Ibrahim.
