아랍의 외래문화 수용에 관한 연구-외래어 차용과 번역을 중심으로

Abstract

In the processing of the human development, the Arab people much have contributed to the development of the human culture as the preservation of human culture and civilization. In Ummaid and Abbasid dynasty, the Arab people passionately imported the advanced knowledges and civilizations from Sasanian Persia, Indo, Rome, Greece and Egypt and they kept and advanced it mixing the Arab characters. And they transmitted their advanced culture outcomes to the West afterward 13th century. Therefore we have to acknowledge the Arab's role as the keeper of the human civilization. In this article, I will try to show the Arab's contribution to the human knowledges and the pattern of the expropriation of the foreign culture in Arab. Especially I will analysis the processing of the foreign borrowings and translation from the non Arab nations in order to show the character of the expropriation of the foreign culture in Arab.
