This paper deals with the images of Ilya Muromets who is one of the most popular heroes in the Slavic heroic myth. Ilya Muromets is the main subject of various studies about the Slavic heroic epic and is the main character in various animations and films also. His name became a synonym of an outstanding physical and spiritual power and integrity, dedicated to the protection of the Homeland and the People. Ilya Muromets over time has become a hero of numerous movies, pictures, monuments, cartoons, as it were, the most favorite character in One Source Multi Use. To study the way of representation of his heroic images this study tries to analysis two films mainly, Aleksandr Ptushko’ film <Ilya Muromets>(1956) and Dmitriy Dyachenko’s film <The Last Knight>(2017).
