체육학 학술지의 출판윤리 규정 내용 및 요구 분석

건강한 학술연구문화를 조성하기 위한 노력의 일환으로 대학차원의 연구윤리위원회 활동, 학회 및 출판사 차원의 자정 노력과 시스템이 과거에 비해 다각도로 구축되고 있다. 현재 기존의 연구윤리와 차별화된 학술논문의 공적 출판과 관련된 출판윤리의 강조는 국내외 선진 학회에서 강조되고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 선진화된 출판윤리 진단 기준을 근거로 2020년 한국연구재단에 등재된 체육학 학술지를 전수조사하고 출판윤리 규정 내용 및 학술적 요구를 분석하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 통해 체육 분야의 개별 학회가 학문적 다양성과 특수성을 반영한 선진화된 학술논문 출판윤리 가이드라인을 개발하고 이를 통해 맞춤형 출판윤리 규범을 체계화하는데 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 분석 결과, 체육학 학술지의 규정은 설정한 기준과 비교할 때 매우 잘 갖추어진 학회에서부터 규정 자체가 없는 경우도 나타나 편차가 매우 크게 나타났고, 규정 내용 수준의 범위가 학회 간 상당히 큰 것으로 조사되었다. 특히 출판윤리의 필수 규정으로 간주되는 조항을 정비하지 못한 학회도 상당수 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 체육학 학술지의 출판윤리 개선을 위해 국내외 선진화된 출판윤리 규정 참조 및 준용을 통한 개정 작업과 함께, 편집인, 심사자, 저자의 인식 확산을 위한 각 학회의 노력이 필요하다.
Abstract
To foster a healthy research culture in Kinesiology, the committee activities of research ethics at the university level and self-correction systems at the academic level or publisher level are being built in various ways than in the past. In present, publication ethics related to the public publication of scholarly papers differentiated from the existing research ethics is being emphasized in domestic and foreign advanced societies. Based on the advanced diagnostic standards for publishing ethics, this study was conducted a complete survey of academic journals in the field of Kinesiology registered in the National Research Foundation of Korea in 2020, and analyzed the contents and academic needs of the publication ethics regulations. Throughout this, this study has intended that each academic society in the field of Kinesiology has developed advanced guidelines of academic publication ethics guidelines reflecting academic diversity and specificity and contributed to provide basic data for systematizing customized publication ethics standards. As a result, when comparing the standards set by Kinesiology associations, the range was very large from some journals without regulations to other journals with well-equipped regulations. It was also investigated that there are a number of academic societies that have failed to revise the provisions that are considered essential regulations of publication ethics. Finally, there is a need to expand the perception of editors, reviewers, and authors, along with revised works to refer advanced publication regulation in Korea and other countries.
