예비교사가 수업계획과정에서 당면하는 문제, 해결방법 및 기준

이 연구는 예비교사가 수업을 계획하는 과정에서 당면하는 문제와 해결방법, 문제해결에 참조 하는 기준을 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 20명의 예비교사가 한 학기에 걸쳐 조별로 여섯 번의 수업을 계획하면서 작성한 120개의 반성저널을 분석하였다. 저널에 나타난 수업계획과정의 문제와 해결방법, 참조기준은 내용분석 절차를 따라 범주화하고, 범주별 빈도를 구하였다. 질적 분석방법을 통하여 문제해결과정의 특징도 추론하였다. 연구의 결과 예비교사들의 수업계획은 다섯 개의 문제영역-수업모형의 이해, 과목과 주제, 목표, 교수학습활동, 평가-을 중심으로 이뤄지고, 내용중심의 순환모형을 따름을 확인하였다. 문제해결은 여러 참조기준에 의거하고, 갈등하는 기준은 절충하거나 모방과 모의수업을 통해 답을 구하고, 조원과의 토론과 민주적인 절차를 통해 결정함을 발견하였다. 구체적인 문제해결전략은 다양하였다. 수업계획과정의 문제해결에 참조하는 기준은 여섯 가지 범주-목표, 학습자, 교수학습이론, 교 사, 사회적 가치, 환경-와 그 하위 개념들로 구성되었다. 수업계획과정은 선행연구의 결과를 지지하며, 선행연구에서 보기 드문 참조기준들도 발견되었다. 이런 결과에 기초하여 경력, 학교급, 교과 등 맥락에 따른 수업계획 과정과 참조하는 기준의 차이 연구, 참조기준의 원천과 형성과정, 지속 기간에 관한 연구, 예비교사들이 당면하는 문제와 해결방법, 문제해결의 참조기준을 방법론 과목에 활용하는 방법을 제안하였다.
Abstract
The research questions were as follows: What are the problems faced, problem solving strategies and frame of references adapted by the pre-service teachers in instructional planning? What are their characteristics? To answer to those questions, 120 reflective journals written by pre-service teachers as they planned each lesson according to six instructional models were gathered. To analyze the data, questions and issues raised by the pre-service teachers and the problem solving strategies and criteria used to solve those questions were coded. Categories and subcategories were developed grounded upon data. Frequencies were counted based on the category systems. Then, the characteristics were inferred. The results are as follows: ① Instructional planning was focused on four problems-selection of subject matters and themes, developing objectives, devising teaching-learning activities, evaluation; ② The content focused, cyclic model of planning was mainly adapted by the pre-service teachers; ③ Frame of references could be classified into six categories-instructional objectives: learners, teaching-learning theories, teachers, social values, and classroom environment. ④ Categories were divided by subcategories and examples were abundant. Part of the results supported previous research results. Problem solving strategies such as learning by doing and modelling were observed. Based on these results, teaching methods applying pre-service the teachers' frame of references related to instructional planning and research comparing these results with experienced teachers' are recommended.
