이 연구는 STAD 협동학습 수업모형을 초등체육수업에 적용하여 교우관계에 어떠한 효과를 미치는가에 대해서 규명하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위한 연구대상은 강원도에 소재한 C부설초등학교 5학년에 재학 중인 총 60명의 학생을 대상으로 STAD 협동학습모형을 통한 수업적용 전과 후 검사를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 조사도구로써 사용된설문지는 교우관계를 묻는 도구로 이동원(1991)이 제작하여 활용하고, 권영희(2008)의 연구에서 사용된 설문지를 활용하였다. 이에 따른 자료처리 방법으로는 빈도분석과 독립 t-test 그리고 종속 t-test를 이용하였다. 연구방법을 통해 얻은 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학생들이 인지하는 동료에 대한 호감은 협동학습 수업 전에 비해 STAD를 통한 협동학습 후에 더 긍정적이었다. 둘째, 학생들이 인지하는 지지와 수용은 협동학습 수업 전에 비해 STAD를 통한 협동학습 후에 더 긍정적이었다. 셋째, 학생들이 인지하는 협동적 인간관계는 협동학습 수업 전에 비해 STAD를 통한 협동학습 후에 더 긍정적이었다. 교실에서 협동학습이 제대로 이루어지기 위해서는 긍정적인 상호 의존성, 개별 책임과 모둠 책임, 촉진적인 대면적 상호작용, 사회적 기능, 모둠 분석이라는 협동을 가능하게 하는 요소들이 자연스럽게 이루어지도록 반복해서 강조하고 또 강조해야한다. 학생들은 협동에 서투르다. 선생님이 3월 2일 학생들을 맞이하는 시점부터 협동학습을 위한 프로그램이 가동되어야 한다.
Abstract
This study empirically examined the effects of peer relationships on physical education classes through the application of the STAD cooperative learning model. In order to achieve this purpose, 60 subjects were selected by purposive sampling among students of C-elementary school in Gangwon-do. Peer relationships were measured twice: by pretest and when the STAD finished. The peer relation survey questionnaires were those developed by Lee (1991) and standardized Kwon's study (2002). The statistical methods utilized in the study for analyzing the collected data were reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, independent sample t-tests, and paired t-tests. From the results of this study, the following conclusions were drawn: first, good feelings toward peers significantly increased through the application of the STAD cooperative learning model. Second, support and acceptane showed significantly increase through the application of the STAD cooperative learning model. Third, cooperative human relationships significantly increased through the application of the STAD cooperative learning model.
