Abstract

Simsan’s documents are books and documents donated to the Simsan commemorative business association by descendants of Simsan Kim Changsook in 2023. Some researchers have used it, but its status is unknown. Simsan’s documents are manuscript books believed to be the original of the publication, and documents believed to be the original of manuscript books. There are poems that were excluded from publication due to explicit criticism of Lee Seungman and the Liberal Party. Simsan’s documents also includes the writings of Korean mixed-text writings after liberation, which were initially excluded from the subject of publication. This thesis provides an overview of the current status of the Simsan’s documents and examines some of the 21 newly discovered poems. Based on this theseis, it is necessary to precisely contrast documents with published books to find missing articles and to reveal the timing of creation. In particular, it is urgent to organize the writings of Korean mixed-text writings after liberation. Simsan’s documents are a testimony to the political situation after liberation, Korean Confucian activities, and the history of Sungkyunkwan University.
