초등학교 학부모와 학생이 인식하는 수학학습가치가 수학학습관여행위에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 초등학생과 학부모의 수학학습가치 인식이 수학학습관여행위에 미치는 영향을 탐색하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 경기도에 소재한 2개의 초등학교에서 각각 3, 4, 5학년 학생들을 학부모와 짝지어 총 392명(학생-부모 192쌍)을 편의표집하였으며, 이들로부터 총 4가지 자료(학부모와 학생의 수학학습가치인식 검사지 2종, 학부모와 학생의 수학학습관여행위 검사지 2종)를 수집하여 진행하였다. Kendall’s τ 상관계수를 사용한 상관분석을 실시하여 수학학습가치 인식과 수학학습관여행위에 대한 부모-자녀의 관계를 파악하고, 단계적 회귀분석을 실시하여 학부모와 학생의 수학학습관여행위에 대한 학부모와 학생의 수학학습가치 인식의 영향을 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 학부모가 인식하는 자신의 수학학습관여행위와 학생이 부모에게 바라고 있는 수학학습관여행위는 학부모와 학생이 인식하는 수학학습가치에 각각 영향을 받고 있다는 것이 발견되었다. 본 연구는 초등학교 학부모와 자녀가 인식하는 수학학습가치와 수학학습관여행위 사이의 관계를 분석하였다는 점에서 그 의의가 있다. 연구결과를 토대로 학부모를 대상으로 한 교육프로그램에 학부모와 자녀가 인식하는 수학학습가치에 따라 자녀가 원하고 있는 수학학습관여행위를 구체화하여 제시할 필요성이 있음을 제안하였다.
Abstract
This study analyzed the effect of elementary school students’ and their parents' perception of mathematics learning value on the mathematical learning involvement. The subjects of this study were 392 participants (196 pairs) in the 3rd, 4th, 5th grade at elementary schools in Gyeonggi-do and their parents. 4 types of surveys (two types of survey papers on the value of mathematics study perceived by parents and students, and two types of survey papers on the mathematical learning involvement) were collected. Correlation analysis using Kendall' s τ correlation coefficient was applied to identify parentchild relationship with mathematics learning value perception and mathematical learning involvement, and stepwise regression was conducted to analyze the effects of parents' and their children's perception of the value of math learning on their mathematical learning involvement. The result showed that the parent's perception of their own mathematical learning involvement and the student's desired mathematical learning involvement are influenced by the perception of their parent's and the students’ on the value of mathematics learning. The parents' perception of their own mathematical learning involvement and the mathematical learning involvement that the children hoped for their parents were affected by the value of their mathematics learning. This study is meaningful as it analyzed the relationship between parents' and students' perception of the value of mathematics learning and the mathematics learning involvement. Based on the research results, it was suggested that the educational program for parents needs to specify the mathematical learning involvement that their children want, reflecting the value of mathematics learning value recognized by parents and their children.
