초록
There were not so many who Korean women had been studying abroad to Japan in 1910. In spite of very small, the number which Korean women had studied to Japan increased more and more. It resulted from the willingness of women who had hoped to overcome the discrimination of education in Korea and to make a stabilized living. it has an important meaning that the number of women to study to Japan was increased rather than before, because Joseon Goverment-general had restricted study to Japan in 1910’s. Specially women had stronger consciousness for mission which they had to change the reality of Joseon at that time. Women's students organized groups which was called ‘Yozachinmokhoi’ (Women’s social-gathering) or ‘Yoza-Hakhunghoi’ and so on, promoted their friendship and pursued to study more. They published ‘Yozagye(that means Women’s meeting)’ which women focused on and tried to inform the world of their thought. And they tried to connected with women in Joseon and with the non-educated women. But the earlier Yozagye had many enlightening contents that had spoken by men than by women. Main subjects of that advocated ‘improvement of home’ and tried to modernize or to civilize Joseon, but it tried to maintain the system of men-oriented and to restrict the role of women to do at home. This kind of way of thinking made an opportunity to reflect themselves for women and to declare to manage independently. Specially Yoza-Hakhunghoi which newly published in 1920 changed main subjects and contents. But Yozagye introduced feminism(the theory of the emancipation of women) and advocated to destroy the old system which restricted women and to build the new moral society. It means that they tried to emphasize the identification of women, in different way that they had advocated ‘improvement of home’ before. There were these kinds of change which were reflected the freedom of social activities, the freedom and the new point of view between man and woman. It means that women were regarded as one of personality, identity really.
