연구목적: 기업이 지속적인 경영성과를 내기 위해서는 다양한 요인들을 고려하여야 한다. 특히 매년 100만 개의 기업이 창업하고 수많은 관련업체들과 협업해야 하는 현대사회에서 창업기업이 생존하기 위해 갖춰야 할 요인을 찾을 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국 시장에서 창업 7년 미만의 창업기업의 공급망 품질경영활동이 경영성과에 미치는 영향을 실증 분석하고자 한다. 논문구성/논리: 공급망 품질경영과 관련된 선행논문을 바탕으로 경영성과에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 도출하였다. 선정된 중요요인들을 바탕으로 창업 7년 미만의 기업을 경영하는 대표와 관리자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 요인분석과 신뢰도분석 검증 후 변수들 간의 영향력 측정을 위해 회귀분석을 실시하였고 공급망 품질경영활동이 경영성과에 주는 영향력을 검정하였다. 결과: 공급망 품질경영활동을 대표하는 요인인 경영관리인프라, 공정관리, 지속적 개선활동, 인적자원관리, 성과공유가 창업기업의 커뮤니케이션과 경영성과에 모두 정(+)의 영향을 주고 있었다. 추가연구를 통해 창업 3년 이하 기업과 창업 4년 이상 7년 미만 기업의 공급망 품질경영의 주요 요인의 영향력에 차이가 있음이 확인되었다. 독창성/가치: 본 연구는 각 기업의 개별 품질경영활동이 아니라 협력하는 기업 간의 품질경영활동의 필요성을 확인하는 연구이다. 또한 기업의 규모와 설립시기와 관계없이 공급망의 중요성이 부각되고 있는 현시점에서 창업기업의 공급망 품질경영활동과 그것이 경영성과에 미치는 영향력을 연구하였다는 점에서 의미가 있다.
Abstract
Purpose: For a company to produce sustainable business performance, it is necessary to find the factors that a start-up company must have to survive in a modern society where one million companies that collaborate with numerous related companies are founded every year. This study empirically analyzes the impact of supply chain quality management activities on business performance of start-ups companies with less than seven years of business in the Korean market. Composition/Logic: Factors influencing management performance were derived from previous studies related to supply chain quality management, and a survey was conducted targeting CEOs and managers who have managed companies less than seven years old. After verification of factor analysis and reliability analysis, regression analysis was conducted to measure the influence between variables, and the influence of supply chain quality management activities on business performance was tested. Findings: Supply chain quality management activities such as business management infrastructure, process management, continuous improvement activities, human resource management, and performance sharing had a positive effect on the communication and management performance of start-up companies. Additional research, confirmed the different strength of influence of the major factors in supply chain quality management between companies less than three years old and those four to seven years old. Originality/Value: This study confirms the necessity of quality management activities between cooperating companies and not the individual quality management activities of each company. It is meaningful as it studied the supply chain quality management activities of start-ups and their influence on business performance at a time when the importance of the supply chain is emerging regardless the company size and years of operation.
