五代의 高麗에 대한 인식

Abstract

Houliang(後梁) and Shilla did not exchange. Soon after establishment of Houtang(後唐), Shilla dispatched ambassador to take relationship. However, Houtang did not give a warm reception to Shilla. The relationship between the Five dynasties(五代) and Ten states(十國) and Shilla was slight. Also, a sigh of exchange between Houliang and Post-Paecche did not come into view. Post-Paecche dispatched ambassador once in Zhuangzong Tongguang(莊宗同光) 3th year(925) in Houtang. However, the ambassador that Kyonhwon dispatched in Chidan(契丹) was killed in Houtang. And then the relationship was broken. Wuyue(吳越) and Post-Paecche had very close relationship. Houliang and Koryo exchanged once soon before destruction of Houliang. Although Kouyo dispatched ambassador after establishment of Houtang, Houtang decided how to treat Koryo in Mingzong Tiancheng(明宗天成) 3th year(928). That means the political situation of the Korean Peninsula became the center of attention in the period of Houtang. Koryo did not call ambassador who sent into Nantang(南唐) a subject. And Koryo showed that relationship between Koryo and Wuyue was equal by calling the king of Wuyue ‘dianxia(殿下)’. The perception on Koryo of the five dynasties was as follows. First, they recognized Koryo as the only nation of the Korean Peninsula. Second, they required the Koryo defend the east area. Third, they wanted that Koryo hold chidan in check and disturb behind. Fourth, they recognized chidan as an alliance, according as the threat of Chidan increase. Consequently, the relationship between the Five dynasties and Ten states and Koryo was not in the tribute system but in changeable system according to the situation of Koryo.
