자립준비청년의 지역사회 자립지원 프로그램 참여경험

초록

본 연구에서는 당사자 관점에서 자립준비청년의 지역사회 자립지원 프로그램 참여경험의 의미를 심도 있게 이해했다. 이를 위해 과거 가정외보호를 받은 청년 중 지역사회 자립지원 프로그램에 참여한 적이 있는 8명의 연구참여자를 엄선하여 초점집단면담과 개별 심층면담을 실시하였다. 수집한 자료는 반복적 비교분석법과 주제분석법을 적용해서 분석했다. 연구결과, 연구참여자들의 경험에 관한 의미가 총 5개의 상위구성요소 및 17개의 하위구성요소와 더불어서 드러났다. 상위구성요소는 ‘흔들리던 울타리 밖 오락가락한 마음 다독여준 손길’, ‘유채색 활동으로 새 일상 만들어준 자립지원 프로그램’, ‘혼자였던 날 위해 자립지원 한뜻으로 모인 지역사회’, ‘세상 덮친 코로나에 못내 아쉽던 교류방식’, ‘보호종료 이후의 의지처 찾아 든든해진 자립이라는 경주’였다. 중심주제는 ‘빛 밝혀준 반주자와 발맞춰 헤쳐가는 자립의 시행착오’와 같았다. 끝으로, 연구의 발견점을 중심으로 자립준비청년의 행복하고 건강한 자립생활 지원을 위하여 지역사회 자원 기반의 통합적 자립지원 방안, 서비스와 정책의 효율적 연계 전략, 프로그램의 지속과 확산 대책 등에 대해 제언하였다.

Abstract

This study thoroughly understood the importance of ‘the experience of participating in a self-reliance support program in a community for the youth in readiness for self-reliance’ from the perspective of the person directly concerned. For this purpose, this study selected eight research participants who had participated in a self-reliance support program in a community, out of the youth who had received an out-of-home care service in the past to conduct focus group and in-depth interviews with individuals. The collected data were analyzed, applying the constant comparison method and the inter-topic meaning analysis method. The study showed that the meanings of the research participants’ experiences were revealed along with five upper components and 17 lower components. The upper components were “the hand that consoled the wandering heart outside the swaying fence,” “the self-reliance support program that created a new daily life with a chromatic activity,” “the community in which people gathered unanimously for self-reliance support for me who has been alone,” “the interaction method that has felt lacking due to COVID-19 that hit the world,” and “the race of self-reliance that came to be secure by finding a place on which they can depend after the end of protection.” The main topic was “the trial and error of independence that keeps pace with the accompanist who turned up the light to win through.” Lastly, centering around the findings of the research, this study proposed comprehensive plans for supporting independence based on community, strategies for the efficient connection between services and policies, and measures for the continuance and spread of the program for supporting the happy and healthy independent living of the youth in readiness for self-reliance.
