본 논문은 플루트의 다양한 연주기술과 구체적인 연습방법, 효과적인 교수법을 마르셀 모이즈(Marcel Moyse, 1889-1984)가 편찬한 교육 자료들을 통해 알아보고, 그 활용법을 20세기 플루트 연주곡에 대입하여 실질적인 연주학적 측면의 이해와 향상을 목적으로 한다. 마르셀 모이즈가 플루트의 연주기술에 대하여 집필한 30여 개의 교육 자료들 가운데 테크닉 향상을 목적으로 한 교재, 소리와 음악적인 부분에 대한 교수법을 담은 교재, 마지막으로 그가 재해석 하고 편집한 연습곡(étude)까지 세 가지 카테고리로 나누어 분석한다. 이어서 20세기 초 플루트 연주곡에서 중요하게 다루어지는 연주기법들 즉, 텅잉, 손가락 테크닉 등의 기술적 요소들과 음색, 뉘앙스 등의 음악적 요소들을 모이즈의 저서에서 분석한 연습 방법에 따라 조르주 휴(Georges Hüe, 1858-1948)의 《플루트와 피아노를 위한 판타지》(Fantaisie pour flûte et piano, 1913)에 적용하여 그의 연습법을 보다 효과적으로 활용할 수 있도록 제시한다.
Abstract
This thesis examines various flute performance techniques, specific practice methods, and effective teaching methods through educational materials compiled by Marcel Moyse (1889-1984), and presents how to use them in 20th-century flute music to examine practical performance aspects. For the understanding and improvement of among the 30 or so educational materials written by Marcel Moyse on various flute performance techniques, the teaching method written for the purpose of improving flute technique and the teaching method suggesting practice methods for sound and musical parts are analyzed by dividing them into two systems. Following the practice method analyzed in Moyse’s book, the performance techniques that were important in flute music in the early 20th century, that is, technical elements such as tonguing and finger technique, and musical elements such as timbre and nuance, were studied by Georges Hüe.
