초록

본 연구는 한국노동연구원이 조사한 2002년 사업체 실태조사를 토대로 ICT확산, 기업조직, 제품차별화, 그리고 숙련노동수요 간의 보완관계 존재 여부를 투자에 대한 상관관계분석과 수익성에 대한 상호보완적 기여라는 두 측면에서 고찰한다. 분석결과에 의하면 ICT수요는 제품차별화를 제외한 인적자본투자, 인적자본수준, 자율적 기업조직과 보완관계를 형성하고 있었다. 또한 ICT는 개별적으로 생산 및 수익성에 기여하나 분권적 기업조직, 인적자본수준, 제품차별화전략과 시너지 효 과를 발휘한다는 증거를 발견할 수 없었다.

Abstract

This paper investigated possible complementarity relations among ICT diffusion, work organization of firms, product differentiation and the demand for skilled labor. The results show that ICT demand is complementary with investment on human capital, autonomous organization, and human capital, but not with product differentiation. Also ICT is found to contribute to productivity and profitability by itself. However, it does not show any synergic effect with other factors.
