의료관광종사자의 메디텔에 대한 인식도 및 활성화 방안 연구

Medical tourism industry is recognized as a Blue Ocean where the medical service industry and tourist service industry are combined to make high added-value. However, most of Medical tourism is focused by the medical service, so it is required about various kinds of tourist service in order to satisfaction of medical tourists. Especially, Meditel operating system, which offers accommodation and medical services in the same building, is expected to give convenience of high quality hotel and to have opportunity boosting low awareness. This study is going to find out the recognition of the people who are related to the medical tourism services, to be specific, people working in medical field, hotel and traveling field, medical tourism consulting field, government related field. The study has its purpose on suggesting ways to vitalize meditel. Through the result of empirical analysis, the below development methods are suggested in order to enhance the competitiveness for activating medical tourism industry. First, We need to build a Korean Meditel model. Second, We need diversification of medical tourism products related to meditel. Third, We must reinforce the system of professional manpower training. Lastly, Increased awareness and investment is needed for the enhancing competitiveness of Korea meditel industry.
