지역혁신역량에 따른 혁신기업의 입지와 성과에 관한 실증 분석

초록

지역혁신체제의 중요성이 날로 부각되고, 정부 차원에서 지역혁신 정책을 다각도로 추진하고 있다. 본 연구는 지역혁신체제의 성공적 발전을 위한 핵심 요인으로 지역의 역량을 강조하였다. 즉, 지역의 역량은 혁신을 추동할 수 있는 기업의 자발적 이주를 유인한다는 가정 하에 혁신기업의 형평화 수준을 분석하고, 지역혁신역량을 경제, 복지, 산업･공간, 행정적 역량으로 구분하여 특정 산업단지로의 기업의 입주에 영향을 미치는 변수는 무엇인가를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 재정자립도, 잠재혁신역량지수, 통신 및 제조업체수, 등록처리건수가 높은 지역은 상대적으로 기업 입지규모 큰 것으로 나타난 반면에, 병원수는 기업입지 규모에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 재정자립도와 등록처리건수가 높을수록 평균적으로 입지한 기업의 생산능력과 고용창출에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있으나, 병원수 입지특성(잠재혁신역량)은 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

Abstract

This study emphasized the RIC(Regional Innovation Capacity) by key factor for successful development of RIS(Regional Innovation System). Moreover it divided RIC as Economic, Welfare, Industrial-Spatial, Administrative Capacity and analyzed on RIC and LPIE(Location and Performance of Innovational Enterprises). As a result, LIE(Location of Innovational Enterprises) is influenced by financial autonomy, index of underlying innovation capacity, size of communication and manufacturing enterprises, size of registration and treatment positively. On the other hand, LIE(Location of Innovational Enterprises) is influenced by size of hospital negatively. PIE(Performance of Innovational Enterprises) is influenced by financial autonomy, size of registration and treatment positively. On the other hand, PIE(Performance of Innovational Enterprises) is influenced by size of hospital, index of underlying innovation capacity negatively.
