초록
Wellness tourism is one of the rapidly growing sectors of the current thriving tourism industry in the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study was to investigate visitors’ wellness tourism motivation and its relationship with their perceived value and satisfaction; and to propose a management plan for Jeju Oreum. To accomplish these purposes, a questionnaire survey was distributed to 296 visitors of the three Jeju Orums. The hypothesis test was carried out using the PLS-SEM method which obtains determinate values of the latent variables for predictive purposes. Specifically, wellness tourism motivation was evaluated via four components: relaxation, enjoying nature, social fellowship, and novelty. Wellness tourists’ perceived value was assessed from two perspectives: functional and emotional value. The study confirmed the impact of wellness tourism motivation on perceived value, which consequently leads to satisfaction. The present research proposes a management plan to revive Jeju Oreum as a wellness tourism destination after the COVID-19 pandemic.

To accomplish these purposes, a questionnaire survey was distributed to 296 visitors of the three Jeju Orums.
