Big Data Analysis on the International Blockchain Tourism Industry

This study focuses on analyzing keywords associated with international blockchain tourism industry to understand the relationships between these key words, ultimately unveiling the business structure. Wordcloud, semantic network analysis, and topic modeling were used as the research methods. The analysis results are as follows. First, these are words that specifically explain the basic principles of the international blockchain tourism industry, and included ‘blockchain technology,’ ‘tourism service,’ ‘industry,’ and ‘currency payment.’ Second, words at the center of the network structure are dominant keywords that play a crucial mediating and central role, representing indispensable characteristic elements in blockchain tourism industry. Third, six topics were derived and were named: topic 1 ‘local tourism’; topic 2 ‘luxury tourism’; topic 3 ‘future innovation technology’; topic 4 ‘currency exchange’; topic 5 ‘booking platform’; and topic 6 ‘digital asset payment’. In this study, the international blockchain tourism industry is investigated through big data analysis, focusing on proposing a realistic tourism model.
