국내중앙아시아 관련 학위논문 편차 연구: 연구자 국적, 논문수준, 주제별 분류

Abstract

After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the five Central Asian countries that became independent increased their interest in Korea, and Korea also showed more interest in these countries. Along with this phenomenon, the number of students entering Korea from Central Asia to study abroad has increased. Master’s and doctoral dissertations containing various contents were submitted at domestic universities. Among those who submitted thesis related to Central Asia at Korean universities, there were more foreign students than Koreans. This thesis reveals the degree and nature of the submission of thesis related to Central Asia by domestic universities by searching the website of the National Assembly Library. The total number of dissertations submitted upon completion of master’s and doctoral programs at domestic universities is investigated, master’s and doctoral thesis submissions are classified into Korean and foreign nationals, and all theses are classified and evaluated by major. It is revealed that the vast majority of submitted dissertations are the research results of students studying abroad in Central Asia.
