최근의 지역재생에서는 기존의 토건 중심의 도시재생에서 인문학적 측면이 강조되는 창조적인 도시재생이 강조되고 있다. 이는 창조경제의 발전에 따라 문화를 기반으로 한 도시재생의 트렌드도 바뀌어가는 것을 의미한다. 특히, 창조인력과 창조산업이 지역발전의 중요한 핵심요인으로 등장하면서, 유네스코의 사례 등에서 나타나는 바와 같이 창조도시를 중심으로 도시의 핵심가치도 변화하고 있다. 특히, 도시재생에 있어서는 하드웨어중심에서 소프트웨어 중심으로, 지역별 전통 및 정체성에 근간한 차별성이 강조되고 있으며, 국내외 사례에서 그 가능성이 나타나고 있다. 이러한 도시재생의 전환이 성공하기 위해서는 첫째, 창의적 인력 등 자산을 확충하는 작업이 중요하며, 둘째, 구성요소들 간의 관계성을 더욱 높이는 사회생태계 활성화가 중요하며, 셋째, 실질적인 성과창출과 성공사례를 만들기 위한 기반을 탄탄히 하는 것이 필요하다고 할 수 있으며, 마지막으로는 도시의 순환과 피드백을 공고히 하기 위한 자기완결적 구조로서의 시스템이 안정되어야 할 것이다.
Abstract
A lot of emphasis has been placed on urban constructions in terms of hardware, but recent discussions about regional regeneration are focused on the perspectives of humanities & creative city. This means cultural trends of urban regeneration are going to change by the development of the creative economy. In particular, while in the creation of human resources and the development of creative industries in the region emerged as a key factor, related core values of the city development is changing, such as shown in the case of the UNESCO Creative Cities. The concept of urban regeneration is changing from hardware into software with several cases, focusing on the regional basis of tradition and identity differentiation. This research suggests the four ideas & tasks about successful urban regeneration in the era of creative economy. First, the task of expanding the creative workforce is important including creative assets. Second, the relationship between the components is critical to enable further increase the social ecosystem. Third, the actual performance and making of success case creation is important. Fourth, making virtous cycle and the feedback for stable self-completed structure & system.
