본 실험은 원예치료가 정신장애인의 우울에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 수행하였다. 대구광역시 남구 대명동에 위치한 남구보건소에서 재활치료를 받고 있는 정신장애인 7명을 대상으로 3월 25일부터 6월 10일 까지 3개월간 주 1회 총 12회 원예치료를 실시하였다. 자가평가우울척도의 전체적인 평가결과 원예치료 실시전보다 실시 후에 높게 나타났다. 자아존중감 조사결과 사전검사보다는 사후검사에서 통계적으로 높게 나타났다. 원예치료 평가표에 의한 결과를 보면 특히 정서적 발달에서 불안, 긴장과 활동의욕, 성취감이 높아졌고, 사회적 발달에서 사교성(대화), 참여도가 높아졌다. 이상의 결과 원예치료 프로그램이 정신장애인의 우울감소에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
This study conducted to clarify the effect of horticultural therapy on depression of schizophrenics. It was 7 people that have got chronic schizophrenic that were treated at Namgu public health center at Daemyongdong, Namgu, Daegu for 3 months(March 25~June 10), once a week, 12 times. According to the result of Self-Rating Depression Scale, horticultural therapy group showed elevation that is meaningful in after-treatment. It became high to keep in mind statistically in after treatment than before treatment the case of self-esteem. According to the result of KHY style horticultural therapy group showed elevation in after treatment than before treatment from all items of emotional development and social development. Especially score of following emotional developments were raised such as motivation, achievement and decreased such as anxiety, tension. According to social development increased participation, conversation. As the result horticultural therapy group is effectful to schizophrenics a decrease of depression.
