Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the appropriate level of NEFA related to pregnancy by analyzing NEFA among the nutritional metabolites in Hanwoo cows. The results of the basic data for the management of breeding specifications were investigated according to the grazing results of appropriate blood nutrition metabolites in Hanwoo cows. The survey items were AST, ALT, Cholesterol, Glucose, BUN, and NEFA. Among these six items, the NEFA level survey, which is related to breeding, showed that the average of pregnant individuals in grazing cows was 221±105 uEq/L and the non-pregnant individuals were 240±121 uEq/L, However, there was no significant difference. The cholesterol of pregnant individuals in non-grazing was 113.33±17.03 mg/dL and the non-pregnant cow was 137.25±21.77 mg/dL, which was significantly higher in non-pregnant cows. Likewise, NEFA levels (pregnant cow 204±119 uEq/L and non-pregnant cow 286±215 uEq/L) were the same. The MPT results of prenatal and postpartum AST 105.53±24 IU/L and 81.59±12.55 IU/L were significantly decreased postpartum in pregnant individuals. NEFA level, postpartum group was significantly (p<0.05) higher (497 uEq/L) than before partum (122 uEq/L). In conclusion, the NEFA level related to breeding without any difference between grazing and non grazing showed significantly higher results than non-pregnant cows in pregnancy, and the NEFA level before and after delivery showed a significant increase after delivery. It is thought that maintaining proper nutrition levels in Hanwoo cows can improve productivity through the improvement of the breeding rate of cows, and various studies should be carried out to improve breeding efficiency through the iimprovement of nutrition levels.
