미술학습에서 감상과 표현 영역의 통합에 대한 연구

Abstract
Nowadays, the importance of the art appreciation has been emphasized in art education, because art appreciation has an effect of cultivating thoughts. However, in spite of many articles and papers on the art appreciation, art expression education focusing on technique or self-exposure is more likely to be performed in school. The reason is that school teachers are not familiar with the art appreciations with only a partial knowledge of it. Thus, even if, they would teach art appreciation without deep understanding of contextual conditions. But developing art ability involves the power of thoughts and expression. Expression ability is grounded on the ability to image that comes from the cultivated thoughts. So in art lesson, art appreciation is a base to the art expression, while the work of art expression also becomes the material of art appreciation. Therefore, it is necessary to integrate art appreciation with art expression for the development of art ability. But many school teachers still think those two fields are not correlated with each other or they have only obscure idea about it. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to suggest a importance of art appreciation, presenting a theoretical basis for integration of art appreciation and expression in art education.
