고등학생들의 창의성 신장을 위한 전향력 탐구 활동 프로그램 개발과 효과

Abstract

The purposes of this study were (1) to develop the Coriolis Force Instructional Program that was based on Renzulli's Enrichment Triad Model to improve creativity for high schools students, and (2) to investigate the effect of the program on creativity improvement. The subjects were 70 high school students at G high school in Gumi city and were divided into two groups: Control (n=35) and experimental groups (n=35). During one month period, experimental group was received the Coriolis Force Instructional Program, while control group traditional lessons. To measure students' creativity improvement and achievement regarding Coriolis force concepts, the pre- and posttest of Torrence Test of Creative Thinking (TTCT) and the Achievement test were administered. The results showed that (1) students in the experimental group scored significantly higher on the Achievement test, (2) the mean of pretest of TTCT for the experimental groups students was significantly higher than the mean of posttest of TTCT. In addition, students who took the program felt that the program was helpful to understand the difficult concept, Coriolis force easily. Based on the results of this study, it appears that the Coriolis Force Instructional Program is more effective to development of creativity and understanding concept of Coriolis force for high school students.
