연구는 놀이계획-실행-평가 활동이 유아의 놀이특성과 의사결정력 발달에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구의 대상은 만 4세와 5세 유아 33명이고, 실험집단 유아 20명을 대상으로 8주간에 걸쳐 ‘놀이계획-실행-평가’활동을 실시한 후 그 효과를 검증하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 놀이특성에서는 운동놀이와 사회놀이에 변화가 있었다. 둘째, 놀이계획-실행-평가 활동은 의사결정력 전체 및 그 하위효과가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 즉 놀이계획-실행-평가 활동은 유아의 의사결정력을 향상시켰음을 확인하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect the play plan, practice and evaluation of free choice activities from young children's play characteristics and decision making ability. Fifty-six subjects of four to five-year-old children were divided into experimental and control groups. Both groups participated in a 8 week program. The experimental group participated in the play plan, practice and evaluation of free choice activities while the control group participated in the Korean National Kindergarten Curriculum. The experimental design included a pretest and posttest. ANCOVA results show that the experimental group children scored significantly higher in the posttest on the play characteristics and decision making ability.
