실습지도교사 지원 여부에 따른 실습지도교사의 역할에 대한 교육 실습생의 역할기대와 역할수행 차이

본 연구는 실습지도교사의 역할에 대한 교육실습생의 역할기대와 역할수행에 대해 실습지도교사 지원을 중심으로 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 서울과 수도권 소재 대학들의 실습생 100명으로 Kuehl(1984)의 연구에서 사용된 도구를 신현주(1998)가 수정․보완한 설문지를 사용하여 SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 통해 평균, t검정, F검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 실습지도교사의 역할에 대해 교육실습생들이 가지는 기대는 평가, 실습 안내, 상담자, 교수활동지도, 성장기회 제공, 연구자, 실무지도역할 순으로 나타났다. 실습지도교사의 지원 여부에 따른 교육실습생들의 기대는 유의미한 차이가 없었으나, 상담자 역할의 경우 1년 미만 경력 지도교사보다 10년 이상 경력 지도교사의 점수가 더 높게 나타났다(F=2.90, p<.05). 둘째, 실습지도교사가 실습기간동안 수행한 역할에 대해 교육실습생들은 성장기회 제공, 평가, 연구자, 교수활동지도, 상담자, 실습 안내, 실습지도역할의 순으로 인식하였다. 실습지도교사의 지원 여부에 따른 교사의 역할 수행을 살펴본 결과 유의미한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났으나, 실습지도교사의 학력에 따라 실습 안내의 역할 수행 점수가 유의미한 차이가 나타났다(F=2.96, p<.05). 반면에 실습기관의 유형에 따라 역할수행에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났는데(t=-5.56, p<.001) 국공립 실습지도 교사들의 역할수행 점수가 높았다. 셋째, 교육실습생이 기대하는 실습지도교사의 역할과 실습지도교사가 수행한 역할 간의 차이를 살펴본 결과 실습지도교사 지원 유무에 따라 약간의 차이가 보였다(유, t=6.16, p<.001 / 무, t=7.43, p<.001). 이러한 연구결과들은 실습지도교사 지원이 약간의 효과가 있으나 교육실습 실제에서 좀 더 효과를 발휘하기 위해서 멘토, 슈퍼바이저와 같은 방안도 함께 활용하여 그 효과를 높이는 노력이 필요할 것으로 보인다.
Abstract
he purpose or this study is to analyze pre-service teachers' perception on teachers' role-expectation and role-performance by support for cooperating teachers. The research questions for this purpose are: (1) Are there differences in the perception of pre-service teachers on the role expectation of cooperating teachers? (2) Are there differences in the perception of pre-service teachers on the role performance of cooperating teachers? (3) Are there any differences in the perception of pre-service teachers between the role expectation and the role performance of cooperating teachers? The results through the research process were as follows; First, there were no significant differences in the perception of pre-service teachers on the role expectation of cooperating teachers except between novice teachers and expert. Second, there were no significant differences in the perception of pre-service teachers on the role performance of cooperating teachers except education levels of cooperating teachers. On the other hands, there were significant differences in the perception of pre-service teachers on the role performance of cooperating teachers between national/public and private kindergarten. Third, there were a few significant differences in the perception of pre-service teachers on between the role expectation and the role performance of cooperating teachers by support for cooperating teachers.
