기본 교육과정 미술교과서의 체재 및 내용구성 개편방향

본 연구는 미술교과서가 미술교육의 궁극적인 목표를 달성하면서 교수-학습 자료의 역할을 충실하게 수행할 수 있도록 내용구성준거와 방향을 새롭게 모색하고자 하였다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 개정 특수학교 교육과정에 의해 편찬된 기본 교육과정 미술교과서를 체재와 내용으로 나누어 분석․검토한 결과 미래의 교과서 편찬은 첫째, 미술교과서의 참고도판은 학생들이 활동과제를 이해하는 데 도움을 줄 수 있도록 표현재료나 과정, 기법을 작품들을 장애학생 스스로 보고 탐색할 수 있도록 구체적으로 제시해 주어야 한다. 둘째 교과서의 단원구성은 미적체험활동, 표현활동, 감상활동의 유기적인 관계 속에서 일관적인 구성이 아닌 다양한 방식으로 구성되어야 한다. 셋째, 내용구성에 있어 단계별로 위계성과 연계성, 체계성을 보완하기 위하여 생활연령을 고려하여 학년제로 교과서가 편찬되는 것이 바람직하다. 넷째, 단원명과 학습 제재를 명료하게 제시하여 학습자가 자기주도적 학습을 하도록 유도하여야 한다. 다섯째, 미술교과의 특성을 고려하여 수준 높은 참고작품의 제시와 선명한 인쇄등 질 높은 교과서 작성을 위해 충분한 예산을 확보하여야 한다.
Abstract
This study was to think about the ways that enable an art textbook to achieve the ultimate goal of art education and to perform its role as teaching and learning material. To accomplish these goals, the results which came from the analysis and examination of the compiled art textbook of basic curriculum according to the content order and content itself were as follows: First, reference illustrations of the art textbook should specifically present material and course, and method not only to enable the handicapped students to appreciate and search those works by themselves, but also to help them to understand what they should achieve during the class. Secondly, the order of the units in the textbook should be structured not in a linear order but in sequences, according to the inter-related relationship among an aesthetic experience activity, an artistic presentation activity, and an appreciation activity. Thirdly, with respect to constructing the contents, it was desirable to consider the chronological age and to compile the textbooks based on the school year so as to complement some traits as to the contents hierarchy, correlation among units, and systematicity. Fourthly, by clearly presenting the unit title and the subject matter to study, it should guide learners into the self-initiative study. Fifthly, considering the nature of the art curriculum, sufficient budget for presentation of some high-level reference works and for clear printing of those reference works should be supported.
