Abstract
The video modeling are effective intervention strategies for addressing social- communication skills, functional skills, and behavioral functioning in children with disabilities. The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of video modeling instruction via a portable Net-book on the riding a bike of elementary students with intellectual disabilities. The participants of the study were three elementary students with intellectual disabilities. The intervention was implemented in the playground. A multiple baseline design across subjects was used to investigate the effectiveness of the intervention. The result of this study was as following. Video modeling via a portable Net-book improved the riding a bike of elementary students with intellectual disabilities. The result of the study was discussed in the perspective of educational technology for children with disabilities, and can be used to plan and implement successful community adjustment(mobility, leisure) programs.
