To analyze the semantic relation of major words from newspaper for the disaster news report such as wide diffusion of MERS Corona Virus in Korea by using a semantic network analysis, related reporting articles’ titles of 2 major daily newspapers were collected from May 20 to December 23, 2015. The results showed that there were weak differences of disaster news reporting style based on major words from articles’ titles between conservative and progressive newspapers but not much significant. Those newspapers reported the disaster situation in similar way except the way of viewing responsibility of the disaster.
Abstract
