초록
Purpose : This study evaluated the effects of an SBAR training program on communication clarity, communication confidence, nursing work performance, and organizational commitment among new graduate nurses. Methods : A quasi-experimental, nonequivalent control group design was employed, involving 52 new graduate nurses at a general hospital. Data were analyzed with SPSS/WIN 19.0, with group homogeneity verified through χ -test, Fisher’s exact test, and Independent t-test. Program effects were assessed with Independent t-tests. Results : The experimental group demonstrated significant improvement in communication clarity (𝑝=.005) and confidence (𝑝<.001); however, there were no significant changes in nursing work performance (𝑝=.062) or organizational commitment (𝑝=.065). Conclusion : The SBAR training program significantly enhanced communication clarity and confidence among new graduate nurses but had no significant impact on nursing work performance or organizational commitment. Future research should investigate the program’s effects on organizational commitment over varying lengths of employment. Moreover, continuous SBAR training is recommended to achieve long-term improvements in nursing work performance.
