한국신종교의 심층생태학 연구 -통일교를 중심으로-

심층생태학은 노르웨이 철학자인 A. Neass에 의해서 출발된 생태운동으로서 환경문제를 근원적으로 해결할 수 있는 유일한 방법이다. 심층생태학은 환경문제 발생의 원인이 인간의 의식구조에 있다고 전제한 관점으로 자연중심적인 가치관으로 바꾸는 환경주의적 이데올로기를 수립해야 한다. 한국 신종교의 하나인 통일교는 그의 교리서인 원리강론에서 인생과 우주 그리고 역사에 관한 근본문제를 설명하고 있다. 특히 원리강론은 환경보존에 관한 특별한 언급을 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 원리강론과 심층생태학의 접점을 찾아서 지구적 환경문제를 해결하는 방법을 연구하고자 한다. 원리강론이 주장하는 심층생태학적 요소는 하나님의 심정이해, 하나님의 속성을 닮은 인간과 만물에 대한 개성진리체에 대한 내용, 존재하는 피조물의 이중목적과 연체에 대한 내용 그리고 통일교의 축일로서 만물의 날 제정 등을 설명하고 있다.
Abstract
Deep Ecology was started by the ecological movement of Norway's Philosopher A. Neass, as the only way to fundamentally solve environmental problems. Deep Ecology holds that we must establish an environmentalistic ideology that changed to nature-centered values, on the viewpoint that assumed the cause of the outbreak of environmental problems has to do with human consciousness. In the Unification Church, which is one of Korea's new religions, its doctrinal book of the Divine Principle explains the fundamental problems relating to life, the universe, and history. Especially, the Divine Principle has a special reference regarding environmental preservation. In this thesis, we would like to research methods to solve the global environmental problems, as we search for common ground between the Divine Principle and Deep Ecology. The element of Deep Ecology that the Divine Principle asserts, explains the understanding of God's Shimjeong, the content aboutthe individual truth incarnation regarding human's and the creation's resemblance of God's attributes, the content regarding the dual purpose and both character and form of the existing creation, and the enactment of the Unification Church's holiday, the Day of All Things.
