종교의 사회적 책임의 ISO 26000 이해관계자 모델 적용 연구

현대사회가 경험하고 있는 다양한 사회적 위기 속에서 종교에 대한 사회적 역할과 책임에 대한 요구가 높아지고 있다. 이와 관련하여 본 연구는 20세기 이후 주된화두가 되어온 지속 가능한 발전과 사회적 책임에 대한 종교의 역할에 대해 고찰하였다. 특히, 지속 가능한 발전의 문제는 전 지구적인 협력을 통해 해결할 수 있으므로 이를 위한 사회적 책임의 국제표준으로 ISO 26000 가이드라인이 마련되고 기업과사회 조직들이 사회적 책임을 위한 협력적 거버넌스에 참여하고 있는 상황에서 ISO 26000에 적용할 수 있는 종교의 사회적 책임 모델을 탐색하였다. 그 대안으로써 ISO 26000의 이해관계자에 기반한 종교의 사회적 책임의 투 트랙(two track) 모델을 제시하였다. 협의의 이해관계자와 광의의 이해관계자를 중심으로 사회적 책임 가이드라인을 수립하며, 이 두 체계는 전체 이해관계자가 참여하는 통합적 이해관계자 협의체를 통해 유기적으로 연계될 수 있다. 여기서 광의의 이해관계자를 중심으로 한 사회적 책임 가이드라인은 ISO 26000과 연동될 수 있다. 이러한 투 트랙 모델의 적용을 통해 종교의 사회적 책임을 이행함에서 종교의 고유성을 유지하면서 종교가 사회로부터 객관성과 신뢰성을 유지할 수 있을 것이다.
Abstract
There is a demand for social roles and responsibilities for religion amid the various social crises facing modern society. This study examines the role of religion in sustainable development and social responsibility, which has emerged as a major issue since the 20th century. Because sustainable development can be resolved through cooperation around the world, ISO 26000 guidelines, an international standard for social responsibility, have been prepared, and companies and social organizations are participating in cooperative governance for social responsibility. In this context, this study explored the social responsibility model of religion as applied to ISO 26000. As an alternative, two track models of religious social responsibility based on stakeholders in ISO 26000 were presented. The two track model establishes a social responsibility guideline based on the narrow stakeholders and broader stakeholders, and these two tracks can be organically linked through an integrated stakeholder council in which all stakeholders participate. Here, the social responsibility guidelines centered on the broader stakeholder can be linked with ISO 26000. Through the application of this two track model, the objectivity and credibility of religion can be recognized by society while maintaining the uniqueness of religion and fulfilling the social responsibility of religion.
