본고는 2009년 MBC에서 방영되었던 TV 사극(史劇)을 <선덕여왕>을 소재로 하여, 첫째,주로 어떤 내용을 기억하는가? 둘째, 드라마의 내용을 어느 정도 사실이라고 생각하는가? 셋째, 극중 인물들에 대한 이미지는 어떤 모습으로 형성되었는가? 넷째, 이상과 같은 기억과 이미지는 시간의 경과에 따라 어떻게 변형되는가를 규명하고자 하였다. 기억에 남는 장면은 주로 대체로 미실, 덕만, 비담, 천명 등 극중 주요 인물의 생사와 관련된 장면이 며, 인물이 아닌 경우 일식, 모래 폭풍, 곡물 매점 매석 정도를 꼽을 수 있겠는데, 비율은 낮은 편이다. 시간의 경과에 따라 기억에 남는 장면은 고착되어가는 특성을 보이고 있다. 드라마의 사실성에 대한 신뢰 정도는 대부분의 학생들이 40%∼60% 정도 사실일 것이라고 답변하였다. 주로 학교 수업이나 역사 관련 서적을 통해 접해 본 적이 있는 내용에 대해서는 쉽게 사실로 구분하였다. 반면 사전에 접해 본 적이 없는 내용을 주로 허구로 구분하였다. 한번 허구로 판단했던 내용을 번복하는 경우는 많지 않았다. 인물의 미이지에 대한 반응은 크게 정서적 반응과 사실 진술로 분류해 볼 수 있으며, 정서적 반응은 다시 부정적 이미지, 긍정적 이미지, 복합적 이미지로 분류된다. 인물에 대한 이미지는 시간의 경과에 따라 변화하거나 고착하는 양상을 보인다. 형성된 이미지는 사실정보의 기억과 망각의 메커니즘과는 다르게 지속, 고착되어 간다는 것이다. 따라서 역사교육에서는 사실 정보의 전달 뿐만 아니라 의식 무의식적으로 형성되는 이미지의 양상에 보다 주목할 필요가 있겠다.
Abstract
This research seeks to answer questions about TV historical drama <Queen sunduk> as follows. first, what details of story do students remember, second,How much do the students think the contents of historical drama true? third,What kind of image about features of historical drama is formed. fourth, how are images of the feather changed. The scene to relate with the life and death of the main features such as Misil,dukman, Bidam, Chunmung etc are in memory. except that features eclipse of the sun, a sands storm, cornering and hoarding of corn etc. The scene in memory are fixed as time passes. Students think the contents of historical drama about 40%∼60% true. They distinguish right fact from wrong before they studied in schools or history books. The case which reverses the contents judged fiction before was not many. The students’image about the characters of the <Queen Sunduck> mainly divide two, the one is emotional aspect, the other is factual statements. Emotional responses are also divide two, positive image and negative image. Image formed in students are continued more long time than facts.
