초록

The purpose of this study was to identify the relationships among mindfulness, self-efficacy, emotional exhaustion, and turnover intentions of airline cabin crews and to examine their roles. The target airlines were selected from domestic FSC(full service carrier) and low-cost carriers. The sample consisted of cabin crews who had been employed at the selected airlines for at least one year. The survey was conducted from July 1 to August 30, 2025, and 290 questionnaires were ultimately used in the analysis. The results showed that mindfulness significantly influenced self-efficacy, emotional exhaustion, and turnover intention, and emotional exhaustion also significantly influenced turnover intention. On the other hand, the effect of self-efficacy on turnover intention was insignificant. This study holds academic significance in that it identifies the important roles of mindfulness and emotional exhaustion as antecedents to reducing turnover intention of airline cabin crews. Furthermore, it suggests practical strategies for airlines to achieve stable human resource management and organizational performance.
