초록
The This study examines the influence of cabin crew safety activities on passengers' trust and in-flight safety attitudes. In-flight safety education, primarily delivered through safety briefings, crew demonstrations, and safety video screenings, plays a pivotal role in enhancing passengers' awareness of safety regulations and their compliance with them. The primary objective of this research is to assess how these safety activities impact passengers' trust and their attitudes toward safety. To achieve this, a survey was conducted with 334 participants, and data were collected via an online platform. The data were analyzed using SPSS statistical software, employing frequency analysis, reliability and validity assessments, and regression analysis to explore the relationships among the variables. The empirical results reveal that safety activities conducted by cabin crew, particularly safety briefings and demonstrations, have a significant positive effect on both passengers' trust and their attitudes toward in-flight safety. Furthermore, passengers' trust was found to be a key predictor of their safety attitudes, indicating that effective safety communication can lead to positive psychological and behavioral outcomes. This study underscores the crucial role of cabin crew safety activities in fostering passengers' safety awareness and trust. The findings provide valuable insights and practical implications for enhancing aviation safety practices, emphasizing the importance of strategic communication in improving passenger behavior and overall flight safety.
