지사/면사로 구성된 합연사의 제조 및 그 편성물의 특성 평가

Abstract

As paper yarn has recently gained a great recognition and attention to the fashion designer, it is now one of the popular textile materials in the fashion and textile industry. Especially the development of fine paper yarn is necessarily important to enlarge the high quality end-uses such as suits, female blouses, sportswear, and underwear. The plied yarn consisting of paper yarn(30Ne)/cotton yarn(80Ne), in the study, were produced and the property of the plied yarn were evaluated. In considering twist mechanism, namely twist direction and twist number, the twist number showing excellent breaking stress and strain of plied yarn were 500tpm and 800∼900tpm at first(Z-twist; paper single yarn) and second twist(S-twist; double yarn), respectively. Generally, the fluff hardly existed on the surface structure of the selected plied yarn(S8Z5, S9Z5) and knitting ability of the plied yarn showed a excellent condition. All of the knitted fabrics were outstanding surface appearance, tensile property, and color fastness of 4∼5 grade to washing, rubbing, and perspiration, whereas the fabric blended the paper yarn of 50% or more at least showed good antibiotic and deodorant property. To increase the above mentioned property of the knitted fabric, therefore, the selection of appropriate knitting yarn such as antibiotic and deodorant yarn besides the plied yarn is desirable for the production of union knitted fabric.
