In this Study, I would like to analyze what Mcqueen’s messages are about and how he visualizes his ideas through collections and fashion performances. What is meaningful about this study is to enable motivating domestic young designers thinking in new ways and to open possibilities of making and showing diverse form of fashion performances. Fashion performances unify garments onto human bodies and to build new characters. Also, it maximizes the expression of designer’s ideas in more effective ways. Alexander Mcqueen had been successfully satisfied those requirements through impressive stage installations and interaction to contemporary arts. Furthermore, Mcqueen’s works could not only be fantastic but also be realistic because of his perfection in production. His experimental works were not only to show and it was absolute functional art piece. Through the study, finding more creative design development methodology for next designers could be expected and anticipating to guide a new way of developing fashion performances and to contribute to make progress to fashion field.
