The waste of the clothing industry due to fast fashion is causing social problems, and up-cycling items that add value and functionality to recycling resources are drawing attention. Generally, the techniques used in up-cycling fashion items are often used with strong hand-crafted elements such as patchwork, wibing, knit techniques and collage techniques, and the cost-effective up-cycling products are expected to be high value-added industries as their scarcity and originality stand out. The purpose of this study is to develop up-cycling fashion items using the fusion composite material of lung knit yarn and Waste Leather. The materials used in the work as research methods were made of waste knit yarn, Waste leather, and knitted fabric, while the developed items produced bags, vest, scarf, tumbler bag, and tea coaster. Each manufacturing technique is knitted, stitched, magic lace, and embroidery. The results of the study showed that fashion bags of leather goods applied with vest, scarf, tea coaster and stitching and embroidery techniques were produced with knitted tumbler bag and magic lace techniques. The collaboration works with Waste knit yarn and Waste Leather produced in this study have come to present examples of zero Waste design towards the diversity of up-cycling products and zero percent waste disposal rate and are expected to play a big role in the dissemination of magic lace techniques.
