초록

This paper examines Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s Americanah as a paradigmatic work of world literature through the lenses of transnationalism and afropolitanism. It analyzes how the protagonist’s blog, despite its non-linear insertion, profoundly impacts the narrative, serving as a conduit for Adichie’s ideas on race, identity, and cultural differences. The study argues that afropolitanism literature, exemplified by Americanah, transcends traditional African literature, offering new possibilities for 21st-century world literature by challenging binary thinking and fostering cross-cultural understanding. It concludes that afropolitanism literature opens new horizons in literary studies and creation, calling for further exploration of its expanded influence and sociocultural implications.
