중고등학교에서의 시 교육의 실제

Abstract

The Practice of Teaching Poetry at a Secondary School While it is not a recent affair to pay attention to creativeness as a guide post of new ideological education, creativeness is not just staying at a boundary of education but it has become an alternative for solving a morbid practice of Korean society. This treatise deals with a few poetry teaching methods to develop creativeness at a secondary school. As students' taste and thought change with the changes of the times, education cannot achieve its goals if we cannot cope with such changes. Moreover, when we think of the present situation which runs up to the information age, education of creativeness at schools is a very important issue and teaching literature should be a required course to produce a creative human being. It is not an easy task to teach poems to students, who are accustomed to TV media, animation and the internet. The important thing is to develop educational programs and teaching materials which naturally encourage students to learn poems with interest. If we cannot arouse students' interest, poetry education itself will be meaningless. It is our task to enlarge the class of readers who have an interest in poetry and to make a foundation which should produce creative human beings who are able to lead the 21st century.
