발달변형(DvT)이론의 놀이공간에서 드러난 놀이기능에 관한 연구

Abstract

This study specifies the fundamental reason and purpose of considering the playing function, which means a playful form in the playspace of Developmental Transformations(DvT), and this is the basis of self－sustaining healing and is revealed as an effective treatment. DvT is a new drama therapy technique created by David Reed Johnson, a drama therapist and clinical psychologist, who adopted the concept of dance therapy, Grotowski's poor play, and Commedia Dell’arte's improvisation. There is a playspace in the key elements. Since theater is a representation of life and the integration of body, emotion, and mind leads to action, it is necessary to consider how the principle of operation of DvT is changed in the playspace, that is, the client's creative drama. The researcher focuses on the relationship between play in the playspace and the Baroque’s theatrum mundi trend, that is, the dual structure of meta drama(the play within a play) with the properties of transformation and irregularity, and the healthy identity derived from the client’s playing with Homo Ludens. Images freely associated by the guests are flexibly ejected through movement, sound, gestures, and words, filling a kind of theatrical playspace in which acting is performed inside the play by wearing a persona and becoming the content and form of an action. Therefore, this study proves that play in DvT is a theatrical aesthetics that humans create on the stage of life by forming a harmonious relationship with improvisations, realistic movements, and roles in the play, accepting the healing power of play itself and bringing about inner changes.
