The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between failure tolerance, which was a substitution concept of failure experienced in dance performance, and dance flow, which was the standard of successful dance. Nine hundred and seventy two high school students specializing in dance and college students majoring in dance. The results were obtained through data analysis procedure. First, in verifying the difference between failure tolerance and dance flow according to the grade, the failure tolerance of college students was high and high school students’ dance flow was high. Also, multiple regression analysis of dance tolerance and dance flow showed that failure tolerance promotes dance flow. Therefore, these results were discussed based on previous studies and dance sites.
