Modelling thread synchronization using generalized net is very important for both understanding thread synchronization and ensuring thread safety. The proposed model provides a mechanism for descibing the threads and their transitions to different states depending on object locks. This approach allows describing and simulating the whole synchronization process of a given multithreaded application.
