최근 에듀테크 시장의 발전으로 비대면(언택트) 교육에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 교육의 디지털화를 위한 다양한 시도에서 교육에 기술을 접목한 서비스들이 주목받고 있다. 이러한 시대적 환경에서 정보통신기술(ICT)을 접목한 교육 서비스들의 발달로 가상현실, 증강현실, 인공지능 등의 최신 기술들이 다양하게 적용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 시대의 흐름에 맞춰 인공지능과 실감형 콘텐츠 VR기술을 활용하여 초등학생용 상황영어를 대화형 UI/UX로 제공하여 학습의 효과를 극대화 시킬 수 있는 튜터링 서비스 플랫폼을 제안한다. 개인별 학습상황 분석 및 통계를 학습자의 분석을 통한 LMS구성하고 음성인식기반 음성인지 및 AI 답변처리를 통해 맞춤형 튜터링 서비스를 제공한다. 이를 통해 교육격차가 심한 교육환경에서의 저학년층에서 학습에 대한 실제감과 몰입감을 느끼고 상황에 맞는 영어학습 콘텐츠 제공이 가능하다.
Abstract
With recent advancements in the edtech market, interest in untact education is on the rise. Various attempts to digitize education are gaining attention, especially services that integrate technology into learning environments. This paper discusses the use of information and communication technologies in education, highlighting the widespread adoption of cutting-edge technologies such as Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Artificial Intelligence. It proposes a conversational AI-powered VR training service for elementary English language learning. This service aims to enhance learning effectiveness by providing realistic and immersive English language experiences through VR technology and personalized tutoring through AI. Utilizing a learning management system, the service will analyze and track individual learning progress. Through voice recognition and AI response processing, it will offer tailored tutoring services to meet each learner's unique needs. This service has the potential to bridge the educational divide present in many countries, particularly for young learners. By offering immersive and realistic English language learning experiences, it can help learners from diverse backgrounds develop essential skills for success.
