The purpose of this paper is to understand meanings of Chinese political power legitimation in contemporary China. We could make sense that the Chinese political power legitimacy and the traditional culture as the instrument of connection between the ruling Chinese ideology and philosophy could be the substitute of political ideology mainstream through the understanding philosophical legitimacy discussion. In philosophy category, legitimation of the communist regime meant epistemological interprertation method transformation for describing phenomena to establish the ideal system. Traditional culture, which had longtime been influenced by "sino-centerism", timely needed "modernity" for the modernization toward generalization and globalization. Contemporary political power as the dominant ideology dominated all of thought and learning in modern and contemporary times. In conclusion, three points would be suggested as follows: first, Chinese modern philosophy needs to reinterpretate and reestablish the ideal concepts world for fit the present ideological crisis situation not as the form of substitute function. Second, Chinese traditional culture tends to connect with the generalization and globalization. Third, the contemporary Chinese Communist ideology is situated in the crisis. To acquire the legitimacy, it requires that the support of people, rationalization of process and liberalization of thought and learning be instituted.
